🎯 Goal of this step
Ensure the cabinet’s proper stability in its final location and guarantee optimal door closure.
🔧 Caster Adjustment
- Position the cabinet
Place the cabinet in its final location, taking into account the space needed for door opening and rear ventilation. - Leveling the cabinet
- Using a level, check that the cabinet is properly leveled (both horizontally and vertically).
- If it isn’t, adjust the adjustable casters by turning the colored dial.
- Setting the cabinet onto its pads
- If your model has pads, for each caster simply turn the red dial until the pads support the cabinet.
- The cabinet is then stable and ready for daily use.
🚪 Door Alignment and Proper Sealing
- Checking the fit
Close the doors and observe if they:- Align properly with each other
- Seal tightly against the cabinet body
- Show no visible gaps or misalignment
- Adjustment if necessary
- If any door rubs or doesn’t close properly: check that the cabinet is level and perform a fine adjustment if needed.
- Final check
- Open and close each door several times.
- Ensure smooth closing without any resistance or unusual noise.
🧾 Please note
- Proper door alignment ensures better sealing, longer hinge life, and a more comfortable daily use.
