Unpacking and depalletizing Novven 3: best practices

You’ve just received your Novven 3 cabinet (110 cm wide); here’s how to ensure proper depalletizing.

✅ Before You Begin

Check that you have the following items:

  • A pair of protective gloves
  • A safety cutter or strapping pliers
  • A Phillips-head screwdriver
  • Two people for handling (recommended)

📦 Unpalleting Procedure

  • 1. Visual Inspection
    • Check the color of the shock detector (Tilt); the circle inside the arrow should be GREEN.
    • Also, inspect the condition of the package and pallet (check for dents, moisture, or warping).
    • If the tilt indicator is RED, it means the cabinet has experienced abnormal shocks during transport, is likely damaged, and may not be functional. In case of an issue, take photos and note your reservation on the delivery receipt with the carrier. Contact customer service before proceeding.   • 2. Remove External Protection
    • Carefully cut the straps or plastic wrap.
    • Remove the foam corners, side protectors, and cardboard.
    • Check the screen and the door handle for any damage.
  • 3. Remove the Wooden Frame
    • Using a screwdriver, unscrew the wooden frame all around.
  • 4. Lock the Cabinet
    • Turn the red knob on all 4 casters (in a counter-clockwise direction) to raise the cabinet and rest it on its pads.
  • 5. Remove the Pallet
    • Slide the pallet out to free the cabinet.
  • 6. Unlock the Cabinet to Move It
    • If needed, place the cabinet back on its casters to easily move it to the desired location. To do this, turn the red knob on all 4 casters in a clockwise direction.
  • 7. Move the Cabinet to the Desired Location
    • Once in its final location, lock the cabinet by resting it on its pads.
    • It’s important to ensure the doors are properly aligned. You can compensate for any unevenness in the floor using the pads.
  • Open the cabinet door, and inside a box, you’ll find:
    • The carbon filter
    • The power cord
    • The water collection tray
    • The accessories for your cabinet
  • Also, remember to remove any clamps or ties holding the grills and accessories that are already installed in the cabinet.

  • Do not immediately throw away the packaging; it may be useful for a potential return or temporary storage.
  • Keep the user manual and technical documents that came with the device.
