🎯 Purpose of this step
Ensure optimal operation and extend the cabinet’s lifespan through regular and proper maintenance.
✅ Recommended frequency
- Weekly: visual inspection + quick cleaning
- Monthly: thorough cleaning + component check
- Quarterly: detailed inspection (depending on usage)
🧽 Routine maintenance procedure
- Device disconnection
- Before any operation, make sure the cabinet is powered off.
- Unplug it if possible, especially for internal cleaning.
- Exterior cleaning
- Clean surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaner.
- Focus on contact areas: handles, doors, control panels.
- Dry with a clean cloth.
- Door and seal inspection
- Check the door seals: they should be clean, flexible, and properly fixed.
- Remove any dirt using a damp cloth.
- Verify proper door alignment (see previous tutorial).
- Ventilation grills
- Make sure nothing blocks the air intake or outlet.
- Interior components
- Remove accessories (grills, baskets, etc.) if needed.
- Clean with a soft cloth and a non-aggressive cleaner.
- General visual check
- Look for any corrosion, damage, or deformation.
- Report any anomalies to technical support.
💦 Cleaning with a water jet
- Make sure the water collection tray is properly positioned under the cabinet at the back of the designated rails. This tray is designed to collect runoff generated during cleaning.
- Use a moderate water jet to wash the exterior and interior of the cabinet (avoid direct high-pressure water).
- Caution: do not spray water on the technical area (top of the cabinet) or through the ventilation grills.
- Direct the water from top to bottom, starting below the technical area at the top of the cabinet.
- Allow the water to fully drain into the tray.
- Empty and clean the tray after use, and remember to reposition it.
📝 This type of cleaning is recommended in environments that are very dusty, dirty, or where chemical or organic residues are present.
🧾 Please note
- Never use corrosive products, chlorine-based cleaners, or concentrated alcohol.
- Do not disassemble internal components without approval from customer service.
